Products - Extruded vetch
The vetch belongs to the family of Leguminous. She is native of Europe and Asia. They have been valued by their nutrients ever since they were cultivated 8000 years ago for the first time. Only in the last century was evaluated the attributes of their nutrients knowing it like one nutritional source of high quality.
Though, the balance of essential amino- acids in the vetch is considered excellent, although, like in many seeds of vegetables, the sulphurate amino- acids (metionina and cistina) are present with low values by unit of protein.
It is food with significant contents in minerals (P and Fe) and in vitamins, especially B1.
Process of Extrusion:
Our company acquires selected grains of pea free of any physical material and it is the department of quality control who takes strict controls to the raw material that will be destined stops to elaborate this so noble food and of ample use.
During the process, the vetch makes goes by a mill; quaternary structure of proteins opens by the humidity and the elevated temperatures, that temperature deactivates the enzymatic activity which reduces the shelf life of the elaborated product.

- Orgal Extruded Vetch is a product of vegetal principle, with high quality and high nutritious value; the proteinic materials of the vetch have been modified by the extrusion technology. By means of pressure, temperature and humidity, the vetch proteins acquire a new texture and structure.

- Orgal extruded vetch is elaborated from conventional vetch.
- It is smooth and digestive food with significant mineral contents (P and Fe) and in vitamins, specially B1.

Applications of the Orgal Extruded Vetch:
- It is used like extensor of the meat, by its high power of water retention; improve the stability of the preparation and like protein source improving the value nutritious of the products to which it is added.
- The function of the protein of the vetch in the elaboration of culin cold meat is to include the fat when it coagulates by baking avoiding the formation of an undesirable layer of fat in the surface.
- It is uses for the preparation of different plates where is tried to increase nutritious value and to retain water.
Power of hydration of the Orgal Extruded Vetch:
It has a high power of water retention: 1 part of Orgal Extruded Vetch hydrates in 3 parts of water to environment temperature. Our product is hydrated after 15 minutes. Its use improves the texture and the structural integrity of nutritional products to that is incorporated.
